Reversing My Opinion

I have been skeptical of these Moby wraps from the start.

Too much fabric.
Too much fuss to put on.
Too much hassle just to carry your baby.

Well, now I actually have one of each (a baby and a Moby wrap) and last night we gave it a try. I must say it's amazingly comfortable. Hardly felt the weight of Mr Max and hands were free! It also was really easy to put him into (unlike my other sling which took two people multiple attempts and ended with Jamie and me laughing hysterically and Maxwell crying his head off) I do need a bit more practice. . .somehow the photos in the instruction manual look a little different. . . a little more head support. =) I still think it's a bit of a hassle and a little weird to just wear around without the baby but it seems like a good solution until I become more proficient with a simpler sling.

Can it really be?

My baby is 16 days old already.

Soon life will be counted in years not days but right now it's hard to believe that a single day could pass without marking it.
One more day with Maxwell.

Maxwell Arrives

Maxwell James-our big boy arrives.
I guess all those people telling me I looked HUGE during pregnancy were onto something after all!

Meeting Papa. The surgical mask can't hide that grin!
